Creator:

Date:

Description:

A view along Springfield Avenue (now Springfield Boulevard) toward the Long Island Rail Road Southern Division crossing, seen in the center background. Just beyond the crossing, where the road curves to the right, is seen the W. P. W. Haff Coal, Wood and Feed Yard. The small, square, frame building on the right is a harness and boot maker; the name on the sign is only partly legible, appearing as "W Sche__". Note fire hydrant next to one of the trees at left, and the street light on the utility pole at right.
