Dr. Robert Satz looks at the damaged paint on the front of his house at 161-55 88th Street in Howard Beach. Many houses in the area, between 84th and 88th streets, suffered similar damage. Officials believe the damage may have been caused by oil or jet fuel from airplanes taking off or landing at nearby Kennedy Airport.
