- Description
- Mary Kaiser remembers going to the library in the 1930's. She was not allowed to go to Main Street before she was 10 but was allowed to go visit the library. On Sanford Avenue and Union Street there was the League Building where meetings, concerts and performances were held. She played piano from age 8-18, and performed there. She recalls an accomplished pianist in the neighborhood who took lessons from her teacher.
