Title:

Teri Graham Clip 3: Holiday Celebrations in the 1960s

Creator:

Teri Graham interviewed by Nusaiba Ally

Date:

Time Period: 1960s

Description:

Teri Graham shares her memories of celebrating Easter: the outfits, the services, the Easter egg hunt, and the Sunday school parties. For Halloween, instead of trick or treating for herself, Teri would collect door-to-door for UNICEF, which she was very proud of. Her mother used to buy bags and bags of candy for the kids that would come by, but she notes that people are less open to the idea of trick or treating now.
