Soon after moving to Astoria, Annabel Short began a year-long project of interviewing her neighbors and sharing their stories and photos on a blog she created, "30th Ave: A Year in the Life of a Street." In 2012, she donated the photographs, interview recordings, and writing she had produced for her blog, to the Archives at Queens Library.
